Rotary Club of Fredericksburg completed another successful Toys for Tots campaign on December 13, with the delivery of toys, stocking stuffers and family gifts to 440 children in 148 families. This year's Toys for Tots campaign involved approximately 1,300 volunteer hours. Forty-eight Rotarians, four InterAct members, and 15 non-Rotarians filled 380 volunteer positions. Rotary Club of Fredericksburg has been the official sponsor for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program in Gillespie County since 1995. Rotary Club of Fredericksburg thanks St. Barnabas Episcopal Church for providing space for the week-long program of activities, including picking up toys from donation stations, sorting toys by age group, fulfilling applications for requested toys, wrapping, and delivering toys.
